Are Open Soul loops royalty free?
100% of our drum loops are royalty-free!
Our melodic compositions, on the other hand, are not.
Here at Open Soul, we put our hearts into creating samples that stand on their own as songs. Many of our loops have numerous sections, layers and ideas, with some packs taking hundreds of hours to write, produce and mix.
This process is more time intensive and involved than the creation of your average royalty free sample pack.
When do I have to clear my sample?
Use of our drum samples will never require clearance!
Our melodic loops and compositions are royalty free for online beat leasing and small (< 1M stream) releases. However, once a release has reached over 1,000,000 streams, the loop must be cleared and the royalties / publishing will be split fairly amongst each party.
Can I use these loops in any DAW?
Yes! You can use our loops and samples in any DAW!
How about Open Soul presets - what do I need to use them?
Great question! Our presets are all built for specific programs and plug-ins.
For example, the Logic presets are created specifically for users of Logic Pro X, and won't work with any other DAW.
We also create powerful presets for other plug-ins, such as the TAL-U-NO-LX and Soundtoys Effect Rack.
These packs will work in any DAW, as long as you have the plug-in that they're built for.
What is the refund policy?
All purchases are final - no refunds will be issued under any circumstances. By purchasing a pack, you agree to these terms. When you download a digital product, it cannot be revoked.
How will I receive my sounds after I purchase them?
You'll be provided with a download link upon purchase. In addition, you'll receive a confirmation email with your download link and a personal thank you.
